You will do more business if you can accept ATM and credit cards.
Check with your bank for possible credit card services. But don't stop
there, because there are many possible services that wll allow you to accept
credit and ATM cards.
New businesses may have trouble getting the ability to accept
credit cards. If so, you have some alternatives.
One alternative is to install an ATM machine in your business.
The ATM machines are available in the same manner as vending machines. You put
one in your business, your customers use it, and you get part of the revenue.
It won't be a major revenue producer compared to your main products, but it
will provide your customers some convenience with a modest increase in profits
to you.
If you can't do either of those, make sure that you know where the
local ATMs are so you can direct your customers to them. Your best bet is to
get a map of the local area and mark the various ATM locations on it.
